Pared-down Country

I’ve previously mentioned my long and arduous search for cowboy boots.  After finding one pair of black “fashion” cowboy boots, a damaged pair that fit frustratingly well on our trip to Kentucky in 2010, my still-in-use but again “fashion” brown pair from Brazil, and many, many wrong sized or very expensive pairs on Etsy and Ebay (as well as at the occasional indoor flea market or thrift store), I am happy to say I finally hit the jackpot!  It was a thrilling chase, but I’ll start off with the outfit photo.

September begins

It feels like summer is really gone now, with the semester well underway.  Time to buckle down and get my work done, bring a bag large enough to contain a lunch and a thermos of coffee, and wear some white pants before Labor day hits.
